We’re delighted to share some fantastic news for our own Grantham Water Polo Club! One of our incredibly hardworking committee members, Marie Hall, recently took the initiative to apply for a small council grant through the Council’s Small Grants Panel. Thanks to her time, effort, and commitment to the club, the application was successful in round 2 of this initiative which is designed to help the youth of Lincolnshire participate in meaningful activities that promote team spirit as well as physical as well as mental wellbeing. Thank you Marie and well done.

These much-needed funds, which we expect to receive by the end of February, will play an important role in helping us sustain and grow the club, ensuring we can continue to provide great opportunities for our players both in and out of the pool.

Achievements like this highlight just how important the support of our volunteers is. Our club can only truly thrive and grow if we have willing parents and supporters who are prepared to offer a little of their time, join the committee, and use their skills to help share the growing workload that comes with a growing club. By doing so, we can make sure great ideas are acted on — not just talked about.

Ultimately, this is all about supporting our children through their membership of what we hope will be a rapidly growing and thriving water polo club right here in the Grantham area.
