On Friday 2nd, GWPC was represented by 30 swimmers across five lanes to compete in the annual rotary Swimarathon, raising money for local charities and good causes.

This year is extra special because it's the Rotary Club's 35th anniversary with an ambitious goal of smashing their donation record and reaching £1M raised since the event began. Each lane was targeted to raise £200.

In 2023 GWPC recorded 167 laps for Team A, 191 laps for Team B, and 186 laps for Team C! A total of 544, with a lane average of 181 lengths. The cash raised totalled £622.

This year, we raised a whopping £1150 (with donations still coming in).
